John Lippitt is Professor of Philosophy and Director of the
Institute for Ethics & Society at the University of Notre Dame
Australia, based in Sydney. John’s research interests include
virtue ethics and the moral psychology of the virtues; forgiveness;
philosophical and theological aspects of love and friendship; and
the thought of Søren Kierkegaard. He also has an active interest in
the ethics of policing.
